Welcome to Losing the Inner Weight

WELCOME!

If you’re here, there is something in you that is ready. Ready to feel lighter and ready to stop carrying what no longer serves you. Ready, whether you fully realize it yet or not, to come back to yourself. And if you can’t quite remember what that feels like…that’s okay.

I’ve got you.

There was a time I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the woman staring back at me.

Not just physically, but energetically. I felt heavy, disconnected and oh so very self-conscious.

I remember wrapping myself in a towel getting out of the tub, before I could even look at my own body. I avoided my own reflection. Not so much out of shame exactly, but something quieter… a kind of disconnection. I had become physically, someone unrecognizable to myself.

And yet, here’s the strange part...I still loved my life. I loved my family, I laughed easily and in photos, I could see my joy, so I knew for the most part, my spark was still there.

But underneath it all? A part of me felt stifled and muted. My weight was cramping my style.

I longed to feel free in my own body. To move without thinking. To stop shrinking my personality, to stop covering, adjusting and wearing black all the time!

I longed to just be present without worrying about my belly, my bum or all the other bits I masked beneath a cover up in the summer. I wanted to do the opposite actually, to uncover, to stop hiding, and to rebel! But what was going on with me? Oh, the questions I began to contemplate.

Like many women, I was surrounded by the belief that the answer was outside of me.

And if you’re anything like me, I spent a small fortune trying to fix it.

Nutritionists telling me what to eat. Trainers pushing workouts I didn’t enjoy. Every new trend from drops and shakes or some new miracle plan that promised me and other countless people that this would be the one.

And still…

Nothing really changed. I lived on that hamster wheel for years, just going and trying harder, doing more and quietly feeling worse about myself.

Fix the body. Try another diet. Try what's trending. Do more. Be better.

But then I had a different thought. What if the weight wasn’t the problem…

What if my weight was just the messenger?

What if what we carry in our bodies is connected to what we haven’t processed, released, or healed?

And what if, for so many of us, it’s not about food.

What if it’s about what we’ve been holding onto?

Most women believe they need to change their life to feel better.

But what I’ve learned, and what I will show you, is this first and foremost:

It’s not just parts of your life that may feel heavy...It’s what you’re carrying within it.

The thoughts you replay, the responsibilities you’ve taken on, the emotions you’ve pushed down
the expectations of who you think you need to be.

This is what I call:

The Inner Weight

And it can feel like:

• Mental exhaustion
• Emotional heaviness
• Overthinking
• People-pleasing
• Pressure
• Disconnection from yourself

You can have a beautiful life and still feel weighed down inside. And if you don't feel like life is so beautiful right now hon, just you being here is a tremendous beginning and a step in the right direction.

This course is about looking at the inner weights that have been weighing us down. It's not about becoming someone new. It's about releasing and then doffing the damn "cover-up" that is not you.

Over the next 4 weeks, you will:

• Become aware of what you’ve been carrying—mentally, emotionally, and energetically
• Learn how to release emotional and mental weight in a way that actually lasts
• Begin what I call a different kind of diet—a diet from negative thoughts, self-criticism, and old patterns that keep you stuck
• Reconnect with food as pleasure, nourishment, and enjoyment—not punishment or control
• Understand your energy—and how to protect it
• Learn the power of boundaries: when to say yes, when to say no, and how to trust yourself in both
• Step into a calmer, clearer, more grounded and powerful version of yourself
• Learn how to release emotional and mental weight
• Rewire the thoughts that keep you stuck

This is not about perfection, it's about honesty, it's about self-respect and it's about freedom, your freedom.

Go gently. Be patient with yourself, be willing to try something new and stay open. I mean between you and me, haven't we tried just about everything else? Albert Einstein said, "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and then expecting a different result," right? I mean what do you have to lose? How about the inner weight and then some. Let's do this.
Stay open.

Now, let’s begin.

Love,
Tara

Week 2: Release - Releasing What You've Been Carrying

Hi beautiful,

Welcome to Week 2.

Last week, you began to see things differently.

You started to notice what you’ve been carrying, in your thoughts, in your body, and in your emotions.

And maybe, for the first time in a long time you paused and took a minute to be with yourself. This week is where we begin something new. Not by doing more. But by letting go.

And I want to say this right from the beginning; you don’t have to release everything at once. You don’t have to force anything. And you certainly don’t have to be “ready” for all of it.

Release doesn’t happen through pressure.

It happens through awareness, safety, and willingness and you’ve already begun! And I am so proud of you.

This week, we’re going to continue with and gently explore what you’ve been holding onto, why you’ve been holding onto it, and how to begin loosening your grip. We’ll talk about things like, the emotional weight you didn’t realize you were carrying, resentment and what it’s been costing you, how your body stores what you don’t process, simple ways to begin releasing, without overwhelm and how to protect your energy moving forward.

I've also included a timeline example in this section so you can begin pinpointing in your own life when things were going well and when things were not going well. Get yourself a big sheet of paper and begin noticing life's big changes and challenges.

Also, there may be moments this week that feel emotional. That’s okay. Nothing is “wrong.” Things are just… moving. And you are allowed to move at your own pace. If something feels like too much, just pause and come back to your breath. Come back to yourself. This is not about pushing through, this is about softening into release. And it will be worth it!

You might notice, a little more space, a little more clarity, a little less pressure. Even small shifts matter. Because every time you release something, you create room for something new.

And most importantly, you begin to feel lighter. Not because your life has changed overnight, but because you’re no longer carrying it the same way.

And just so you know, I’m right here with you in this. Again, go gently this week.

You’re doing something really powerful. P.S. You don’t have to carry everything you’ve survived; you’re allowed to put some of it down. I sure had too.

Love,
Tara

WEEK 3: Becoming — Stepping Into Your Power

Hi beautiful,

Welcome to Week 3.

If the past two weeks have felt like a soft unraveling or a peeling of the onion. This week is about rebuilding with intentionally, power, and truth.

You’ve begun to see what you’ve been carrying, releasing what no longer serves you and
creating space within yourself. And now you are preparing space for something new to emerge.

A truer you. This week gorgeous is all about becoming. Oh, I love that word! This week we are going to take a deeper look at what's already within you. You may feel pretty excited at exploring who it is that you are becoming with vision and with more clarity. This is your time to have awareness around what feels right and what doesn't. This is a desire to live either a little differently or a lot differently. This is what we call, alignment. And this is where we begin to trust it.

This week, we’ll explore reconnecting with yourself in a deeper way by understanding your energy and what truly supports you. Now we are beginning to make decisions from alignment instead of pressure and seeing your body not as something to fix but as something that carries your life by stepping into a version of yourself that feels calm, clear, and powerful.

Trust what you’re starting to feel.

Love,
Tara

WEEK 4: Living It — Welcoming a New Year, a New Chapter and a New Vision

Hi beautiful,

Welcome to Week 4!

If the past few weeks have felt like a journey…this week is where it becomes your life.

Let's look at what we have discovered: you became aware of what you’ve been carrying, you have begun releasing what no longer serves you and you have started making different, more aligned choices. Obviously, what you know now must be practiced to really feel the benefits of this freedom, but it is so worth it. You my dear are so worth it.

And now, you don’t need to go back. This week is not about doing more work.

It’s about beginning the habit of living what you’ve learned, trusting what you feel, and allowing this new way of being to become natural.

Because the truth is, you don’t need another reset. and you don’t need to start over again; you simply continue from who and where you are now.

This week, we’ll explore how to stay connected to yourself in everyday life, how to handle moments when old patterns try to return, how to live with lightness instead of pressure, how to create a rhythm that supports you, and how to walk forward with trust, clarity, and ease.

This isn’t about perfection, it never was. It’s about, consistency, awareness and self-trust.

You may notice as you begin to practice and integrate these lessons a sense of calm, deeper connection to yourself and perhaps a quiet confidence.

That’s not something you have to chase. That’s something you’re becoming.

So, once again, go gently into this week and stay connected to yourself.

And most importantly, trust the woman you are becoming or have already become.

Love,
Tara
